Industry PhD project title: Artificial Intelligence for management of electric vehicles and vehicle to grid (V2G) resources optimization

Previous education and work background: Master degree in Power Systems with background in power systems operation, planning, reliability, and modernization.
What attracted you to the RACE Industry PhD? Proposing the project plan with a trending topic, and forming a great team to support and deal with the project.
When you were young, what did you want to be when you were older? Someone who makes a contribution to solve the engineering problems related to the human being and environment.
What do you hope to achieve? I hope that Artificial Intelligence will be used to strengthen management, and more effective utilisation of distributed energy resources with lowest carbon footprint, and as a result, sustainable development.
What are you most looking forward to? I am looking forward to seeing the results of Artificial Intelligence algorithms on the efficiency of energy systems.
What innovation/change would you like to see in 5-10 years’ time? Just as Artificial Intelligence is transforming the telecommunications and IT industry, I would like to see the development in power system in 5-10 years (for example in developing vehicle to grid resources) industry as well.
